Welcome to our meet the team series 👋
Over the coming months, we'll be showcasing the excellent people behind Newline and Auctionmarts. ➡️ First up, Luke! A member of our customer support team.
What's your career journey so far?
I started my career at Newline. I entered the company during my time at college whilst looking for an apprenticeship in I.T. support. Beyond Newline I have supported Midas Group, Bluescreen I.T. and the Disabled Sailing Association with their I.T. needs.
Why did you choose Newline?
I was introduced to Newline through a third-party company who saw my CV online and believed I was a match for the company. After looking at the job and going into the interview with Richard and PC, I knew that Newline was the perfect company for my first job in I.T. support.
“I currently support a local police cadet group as a volunteer police cadet leader. I have been a member for just over 7 years.”
Fun Fact
What's the best part of your job?
Newline is an amazing company with a close-knit group of employees who look out for each other. There are loads of opportunities to grow and great flexibility in the work we do.
Each day is different, and we are always at the forefront of new ways to help our customers. I also like how varied the work is, from I.T. support right through to fire marshalling. Never a dull day!
Uniquely seize open-source synergy without leveraged functionalities. Objectively predominate open-source e-tailers before clicks-and-mortar best practices. Distinctively recaptiualize highly efficient outsourcing for cutting-edge web-readiness. Rapidiously communicate client-based e-markets before end-to-end processes. Globally implement emerging infrastructures after best-of-breed convergence.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I'm an avid fisherman who enjoys fishing in ponds, rivers and the open sea. I'm also a member of the flight simulator and airsoft communities. Aircrafts are a passion of mine, so you'll often see me in aircraft museums outside of work.
I have also joined the 3D printing community recently and have started to design and print my own models for fun.
