Paul-Christian, known as PC, has worked in the family business since 2003. After completing a Bachelor of Economics & Social Science at the University of Wales Aberystwyth with a 2:1 honours degree PC moved to London and started his career as a financial recruitment consultant at Martin Ward Anderson. PC spent three years honing his skills there achieving the #1 graduate in the first year of the companies graduate program and then the #1 fee earner in the business the following year before moving to the company’s start-up office in Bristol.

PC then moved to the family business working as a remote engineer based out of Bristol, following a move home to Devon PC moved into technical support, software installations and training. When becoming a Partner in the business PC moved back into a sales role and initially assisted his father David in building up Newline’s client base of auctioneers before taking this role on exclusively. In his last role in the family partnership PC was responsible for the sales and operations of the business as Joint Managing Partner with Simon. In 2021 Jonas Software acquired the business and PC became the Managing Director.

Outside of work PC is married to Becks and they have two healthy boys and a working cocker spaniel. PC enjoys spending his time playing bass guitar in a local band, skiing & practising Taekwondo with his oldest son. Whenever possible PC indulges in his favourite sport of surfing, or open water swimming and stand up paddle boarding when there are no waves.

Simon has worked full-time at Newline since 1997, and often worked part-time during school holidays since the early 1990s. Simon studied history at Aberystwyth University and graduated with a 2.1 Hons degree. Simon continued to live and work in Wales for 2 years after graduation working in the insurance industry before deciding to move home and work for the family business. Simon began at Newline as an engineer building and installing computers and networks.

Simon gained an interest in databases and software and attended a variety of courses in London. Simon developed many modules in NAS and wrote software in excess of 15 years. Simon has been a partner in Newline for over 10 years and has studied as an accountant gaining a FMAAT qualification in 2011. Simon is joint Managing Partner with his brother PC. Simon looks after the financial, software and training side of the business.
Away from work, Simon is married to Lucie (Newline's Business Analyst), and they have a family of 3 crazy boys, Lewie, Euan and James and a bouncing spaniel, Betty (who often comes to work).
Simon is a keen sportsman who had represented Wales at over 40s hockey and continues to play hockey and coach youngsters. Simon also enjoys sailing and is a qualified Day Skipper. Simon loves to relax on and in the water, engaging in many different water sports.

Richard has worked at Newline ASP since 2003. Richard has worked hard to overcome the challenges of dyslexia to achieve a BSc Hons in Zoology at Aberystwyth University followed by an MSc in Computer Science at Kent University.

Since he was a child, Richard has loved animals and has worked at various zoos including Jersey Conservation Trust and Howletts Wild Animal Park. He would often spend his school holidays working on his Gran’s dairy farm and wanted to work in a sector related to farming. Richard met his wife, Charlotte, at Aberystwyth University and they have two children.
Richard started out at Newline on the support team, with his main role focusing on website development. He then became part of the software team before moving on to manage the support team. Richard is currently the Operations and commerical director at Newline.

Richard has always loved the outdoors as well as a variety of sports. He played hockey and swam at county level, completed Ironman 70.3 on Exmoor and the full Ironman Wales in Tenby. Richard loves spending his free time with his family and friends outdoors and enjoys being in and around the sea, especially surfing. Richard continues to keep his hand in at zookeeping at home where he has several pets including chickens, a snake, a budgie, a tortoise and guinea pigs. He also keeps bees to satisfy his demand for honey.

With over 25 years of experience in the leisure industry, Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. In 2019, he transitioned into the software sector with Jonas, where he has combined his industry insights with cutting-edge technology to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success.
A fitness enthusiast, Stuart’s day often begins with a 5:30 AM workout at the gym, fuelling his energy and focus for the day ahead. Outside of work, family life keeps him on his toes, and he enjoys unwinding with beach walks or runs along the picturesque coastline of his hometown. After a brief spell living outside the UK, he re-joined the company in 2024 to continue working on fixes & exciting new features for Auctionmarts.com as well as our other products and services.
